The Jewish Bride, my novel about the lost Jewish past of Iraq, is now available in Arabic. Only as e-book, and only with Amazon at the moment.
I still hope that there will an Arabic publisher interested in this book, as it is important also for readers in the Arab world to understand how Jews had to leave their countries.
The Jewish Bride is a book with two story lines that meet: that of Zara, de Kurdish girl living in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and Rahila’s, whose diary she finds hidden under the ground, and who lived in the forties in Kurdistan.
The characters in the story are born in my head, but the events they are confronted with are (were) real.
